Find opportunities and grow skills

York County Libraries has resources to help you in your search for a new job, skills growth, or exploring a career change. At any of our libraries, you’ll find resources to connect with and explore job opportunities.

Here on yorklibraries.org, we also have a number of online resources to help you learn skills and information relevant to a variety of career paths—all provided FREE with your library card.

Resources at the Library

At all of our libraries, library visitors can get Internet access for free, either on one of our computers or by using our free Wi-Fi with their own devices. Search on your own, or access any of our great online resources (see below) to get started. Printing is available for a small fee, as well.

Our helpful staff can answer basic computer questions, but we cannot provide career advice and we cannot type any information for you. However, visitors are welcome to bring a person to help them if they need help typing or answering career questions.

Many (though not all) of our libraries can also send and receive faxes—see more information below.
