Friends of Paul Smith Library of Southern York County
The Friends of Paul Smith Library are comprised of volunteers who support the library through programs, events and fundraisers. Within the library, the Friends raise funds primarily through their ongoing in-house book sale, annual Big Book Sale, and sponsoring the Designer Bag Bingo event. Profits from these fundraisers then benefit the library through various means such as: providing funding for programs and purchasing items beyond what the library budget allows.
Additionally, an annual scholarship is given on behalf of the Paul Smith Library of Southern York County, through the Friends group, to a graduating senior residing in the Southern York County School District. For more information on the scholarship, visit the district’s website.
